Choose your class times

Once you have completed enrolling in QUT Virtual you may be able to choose your lecture and tutorial times.

To do so navigate back to the Study Page and find the Class Timetable portlet (underneath the Online Enrolment and Request for Commonwealth Support portlets).

The class timetable portlet

In the Class Timetable portlet you can view the timetable for your enrolled units and choose times for some classes. Firstly, click 'View my class timetable for enrolled units' to find out when your classes are and which classes require you to choose between multiple sessions.

Then in the Class Timetable portlet click 'View and change my personal class allocations' to choose your lecture and tutorial times.

Choosing classes

Your class allocations for each teaching period are listed in this portlet. Once a teaching period ends, your class allocations are no longer displayed here. If your faculty has made your units available in the Class Allocation System you will be able to choose which lectures and tutorials to attend.

For allocations that you have not yet selected or you would like to change, click on the ‘select new class’ link. For allocations you would like to remove temporarily, click on the ‘remove allocation’ link.

Once complete, click 'View class timetable for enrolled units' to see your full timetable.

What if I can't sign on for my units here?

1. Click 'View units registered on class allocations' in the Class Timetable Portlet.
2. If your enrolled units are registered in the system but you cannot sign on, your faculty has not yet activated sign-on for those units. Check back at a later date to choose your classes once sign-on is available.
3. If your enrolled units are not registered in the system contact your faculty for advice about choosing classes.
